The Museum Chopin is located inside dell'Ostrogski Palace, a historic complex constructed in 1600, rebuilt around 1950 and is currently under renovation.
The project of Migliore+Servetto Studio, is mainly based on certain guidelines: the quest for lightness of the display system, and the simultaneous detection of different thematic paths, interaction as an open system for further study, the creation of different "soundscapes and emotional landascapes" and to finish the customization of audio-video through the interaction of the visitor in more than 70 interactive stations (with content in eight different languages) is obtained through the use of RFID technology. While talking to the architectural elements and the structure of the building, the project has fostered the creative development of content through the integration of music, objects in the collection and interactive systems, defining a message "multilayer” and multimode, addressed to different audiences and allowing to each visitor a unique freedom of enjoyment. Official logo, Chopin Muzeum, designed by architects Italo Lupi, Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto, is characterized as a sign of strong and memorable that encloses within it influences arising both from the music world that the architectural structure of the host museum.
