The international jury of the competition for permanent exhibitions at Fryderik Chopin Museum of Warsaw has assigned the victory to the project of Migliore+Servetto Studio, because it is distinguished from the other 30 projects coming from different European Countries, for the “originality and flexibility of its set up system, for the clear and innovative vision of the exhibition and for the perfect coexistence of forms and contents”.
The project is articulated as an “open museum”, where the visitor explores freely the Chopin’s creative path as compositor and piano player through the most important places and events of his life.
The museum, that houses the biggest “Chopinian” collection in the world, will reopened to public in 2010, in the occasion of the bicentenary of Chopin’s birth.
