Federico Lardera was born in Lugano in 1965 and graduated in Architecture at Politecnico of Milan. After a couple of professional experiences in Milan, including the concept and the preparation of the art restaurant Lacerba, in 2005 founds in Rome larderArch studio, which becomes in a few years a ‘boutique’ of architecture and services, mainly dedicated to modern and contemporary art, artists, curators and most important museums.
The experience collected in the cultural field is also virtuously exploited (with graphical projects for exhibitions and fairs) for great companies, such as ESSO Mediterranea and Lamaro Appalti.
An intense collaboration is carried out with the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Rome, where important exhibitions have been prepared such as: Gli ambienti del Gruppo T with Pierluigi Cerri, Enrico Del Debbio Architetto, Arturo Martini, Il Simbolismo, Lucio Fontana.Scultore, Schifano, De Chirico e il Museo, Cy Twombly in cooperation with TATE.
To be mentioned as particularly significant are the most recent preparations, such as the exhibition Amore e Psiche, at Rocca Albornoziana, for the “Festival dei 2 Mondi” in the city of Spoleto; Non Angli sed Angeli at the “The Venerable English College”, Rome; finally the preparation for the first wide anthology exhibition dedicated to Gino De Dominicis, edited by Achille Bonito Oliva, opening the new MAXXI museum in Rome.
