What do you think is the most stimulating side to working in exhibition design?

Experimentation and research

Amongst the projects accomplished, can you mention at least one you take special pride in which makes you say: I shall be remembered for this?

I do not think there is one specific project I want to be remembered for; each and every project has a story of its own and means something special to me. Probably I’d rather prefer to have my projects, instead of myself, remaining engraved on people’s mind.

Can you think of a colleague’s project you admire as much as you wish you had designed it yourself?

There are several accomplished projects I admire; I think I could hardly choose one.

Are there professional goals you still have not attained, a challenge you have not faced yet?

Following the 2006 “Look of the City” experience in Turin, working on the city to expand the use of urban design as driver for the qualification and definition of interaction behaviours in the city would be the professional goal I might definitely want to attain.

What was the trigger to become a member of the IDEA Association?

The ambition to set up an Association driving at promoting and communicating the cultural and qualitative standards of Exhibition Design at various levels, while fostering a stimulating debate amongst significant players of this profession.
